Happy Vaisakhi 2026 from Pingalwara Society of Ontario. We wish you and your loved ones peace, health, and renewed hope on this meaningful occasion.

Vaisakhi holds deep significance in Sikh history. In 1699, Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa, affirming values of courage, equality, faith, and service to others. These values continue to offer a powerful reminder that compassion should be expressed through action and that every person deserves to be treated with dignity.

Honouring Vaisakhi through seva

Seva means selfless service. It can be offered through time, practical skills, fundraising, sharing accurate information, or contributing resources to support people in need. A meaningful act of service does not need to be large. What matters is approaching it with humility, care, and respect.

At Pingalwara Society of Ontario, we support and promote the work of Pingalwara in Amritsar, which serves people with disabilities, older adults, and destitute people. Vaisakhi is an opportunity to reflect on this shared responsibility and the difference that steady, compassionate support can make.

If you would like to take part, you can learn more about seva and service, explore ways to volunteer with us, or make a donation to support Pingalwara.

May the spirit of Vaisakhi inspire kindness, courage, and a commitment to serving others. Happy Vaisakhi to all.
